Regular maintenance is vital for longevity and safety. Keep your blade clean, oiled, and stored in a dry place (preferably outside the sheath). Proper care will prevent rusting and preserve the blade’s performance.

Returns and Refund Policy

Each kukri or knife made by Himalayan Blades is individually handcrafted to order, meaning production begins specifically for your request.
Therefore, refunds or cancellations are not possible once forging has begun.

However, in exceptional cases—such as when production has not yet started—we may consider a partial refund at our discretion.

If we fail to deliver your order within a reasonable timeframe (beyond 65 days) or deliver an incorrect item, you are eligible for a refund as per the following terms:

• Refund requests will be reviewed individually.
• A 35% processing and manufacturing deduction will be applied to the refunded amount.
• Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10–14 business days after approval.
• Initial shipping costs are non-refundable once the item has been dispatched.

If a replacement or repair is needed due to manufacturing issues, we will provide guidance via email. You may be required to return the item (insured) for inspection before replacement approval.

Order Processing

Once an order is successfully placed and paid for through our website, you will receive an email confirmation within 1–2 business days.

During production, we may share progress updates or forging photos, though these are not guaranteed due to workshop scheduling and workflow management.

Delays may occur during high-demand seasons, festivals, or due to material shortages.
