Shipping Policy
Production and dispatch time
It does not exist until you order it.
Every blade is hand forged to order. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting for a buyer. Once you place your order, our smiths begin the work, and completion takes 30 to 50 days depending on the model and the options you choose.
After your order leaves the workshop and is dispatched, we need 24 to 48 hours to receive the tracking IDs from our courier partners. In a lot of cases you get your tracking details before we do, sent straight to your inbox by the courier such as DHL.
Shipping charges
We do not add profit to shipping. The cost you see comes straight from the carrier’s own rates, worked out from package weight, dimensions, and your destination. On most orders we cover a small portion of the shipping cost from our own end.
Couriers we use
Most international orders ship through one of the following, with tracking provided:
- DHL Express
- UPS
- FedEx
Two destinations work a little differently:
United Kingdom – Local cargo forwarding, 2 to 3 weeks.
Australia – Local forwarding, 2 to 3 weeks.
For these two countries the parcel moves through several channels, so we do not receive the tracking IDs right away. Please expect a short wait before your tracking goes live for orders headed to the United Kingdom and Australia.
Delivery time
Once dispatched, express courier delivery generally takes 5 to 10 days. The exact window depends on customs clearance and your destination country.
Customs and import duties
Some orders attract customs duty at the border. These charges are set by your country’s customs authority, and the customer handles them.
Himalayan Blades will not be held responsible or issue refunds for non-delivery caused by customs or importation issues. Please check your local import rules before you order so nothing catches you off guard at delivery.
